J. Moore was raised in College Hill Courts Project in Chattanooga, TN by great-great-grandparents who taught him to replenish and grow each day at all costs amongst all circumstances.

He is a single father and retired chef. Mr. Moore graduated from Chattanooga High School Class of 95/96 with Honors, achieving high merits in four sports, while breaking free of gang and street ties along the way. 

He is the founder of “Helping Hands Outreach Ministry” 👐 and co-founder of “The Truth Serum” 💉🌍, an organization with positive messages to inject truth and knowledge into one’s being, that simultaneously changes the essence of the spirit, body, and mind. He is a spoken word artist who has combined poetry with musical tracks. He has been published in several books by the Chattanooga nonprofit, Rhyme N Chatt Interactive Poetry Organization, that he has been a member of since 2011—On the Other Side of the Mask, Reboot, and Homecoming. He also has works published in Great Poems of the Western World.
